Alberta CAN-BIKE Courses

Calgary

Urban Cycling Skills

Learn to cycle confidently in an urban setting. This two-day course covers the basics of cycling including: how to ride with traffic; flat tire repair and basic maintenance; special bicycle handling skills to avoid traffic hazards; equipment/clothing selection and endurance basics. The course includes theory and practice sessions. Participants must supply their own helmets and bikes in good working order. Canadian Cycling Association certification will be granted upon the completion of the course.
